CCST announces their new Chair of the Board of Trustee Directors.


The Directors are delighted to announce that they have appointed Diane Wood to become the new Chair of Canine Concern Scotland Trust.


Allan Sim has decided to step down from his role of Chairman, a post that he has held for the last five years. However Allan will remain as a valuable Director of the charity.

Allan was appointed Chairman on 30th April 2017 and was originally appointed a Trustee in 2004.

The charity would like to thank Allan for all his hard work since taking on the role of Chairman from George Leslie in 2017.


Our new Chairperson, Diane Wood, was appointed a Trustee in 2018 and has been an Area Representative with the charity since 2000 firstly in Inverness and presently in Aberdeen.

Diane has a particular interest in working with dog phobic children and is passionate about educating children about dogs and how to react around them.

​Diane has been involved with dog rescue and rehoming for 25 years and her passion is Golden Retrievers of which she has had three.
