Therapets who help other dogs

I am sure there are many others, but these two lovely Siberian Husky’s; Loki and Nymeria donated for the first time at a local “pet blood bank” recently. This could have the potential of saving four other dogs lives with their donation.
In their Therapet role they visit separately with CCST volunteer Stepitee Torlay at Ward 7 in Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride and have been doing so for the last six months. They previously visited in a care home locally as well.
Loki who is 6yrs old and Nymeria who is 4yrs old have both enjoyed their Therapet visiting over the last year with our charity which they share with older brother Kobe who is 10yrs old.
To be a blood donor, your dog must be:
Fit and healthy
Between one and eight years old
Weigh more than 25kg
Have a good temperament
Have never travelled abroad
Vaccinated
Not on any medication
