“A new decade and a new CEO! At the Annual Awards Lunch Chairman Allan Sim announced that at the end of the year, as part of succession planning, Nick Henley Price would be relinquishing the Honorary CEO part of his role within the Trust and that Support and Development Officer Mel Hughes had been promoted to replace him with effect from 1 January 2020. Mel joined the staff in April 2019 and has made a considerable impact and the Trustees believe that she is an ideal person to the take on the additional responsibility of leading the charity forward.

For his part Nick is to continue as Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer, posts that he has held since the Trust was established in 1988.”
