CCST has organised “Paws Against Stress” events at three UWS campus’s Ayr, Hamilton and Paisley since 2104 in collaboration with the Students Association.
They have been very well attended at these twice yearly events on each campus to help with exam stress leading up to or during exam time. Up to six Therapets attend each two hour session and the students come and visit the dogs for twenty minutes, this allows approximately 150 students to benefit from each session. Over the years in excess of 1500 students have attended and benefited from these sessions at UWS.
On the night CCST Area Representative for East Kilbride and South Lanarkshire, John Kerr represented CCST to collect this fabulous award.
Many thanks to the Students Association from University of the West of Scotland for thinking of us as worthy recipients and acknowledging the value “Paws Against Stress” events.
