Therapet Bodie Qualifies for SARDA

CCST volunteer Kate Hunter and her registered Therapet Bodie have just qualified for SARDA (Search & Rescue Dog Association) as an “avalanche search and rescue dog.”
This makes Bodie the first SARDA Scotland trained BASP (British Association of Ski Patrollers) avalanche Dog!
Kate and 7year old Bodie have been volunteering for CCST since February 2015 and have been visiting at Rosemount Care Home in Blairgowrie since then.
After the Easter school holidays they will be starting visiting and working with additional support needs pupils at Blairgowrie High School. So Bodie and Kate will be volunteering in a few different ways for the community around them and further afield in their special role with SARDA.
Well done CCST volunteer Kate and Therapet Bodie!
