Assistance Dog category for Dog Photographer of the Year 2016/2017

In May the KENNEL CLUB CHARITABLE TRUST wrote to us saying
“Your charity has been nominated by the winner of the our ‘Assistance Dog’ category for Dog Photographer of the Year 2016/2017.
As part of the 1st place winner’s prize for this category, the winner gets to nominate an assistance dog charity for a donation of £500 from the Kennel Club Charitable Trust.
The winning photo was by photographer, Alasdair MacLeod who captured Therapet, Megan (owned by Linda Whitby) during a weekly Therapet visit to South Beach Care home in Saltcoats.”
We were delighted to have with us Heidi Hudson from the Kennel Club in London, who presented the cheque, together with Alasdair Macleod, and Linda Whitby, and of course Megan who was Therapet of the Year in 2016.
