CCST Volunteer wins KCAI Trainer of the Year 2017


CCST volunteer Mrs Martha Brindley has been crowned with the *KCAI Trainer of the Year award for 2016. The award recognises the outstanding talents of KCAI scheme members who go that extra mile to make a difference for dogs’ lives and their human families.

This year Martha was nominated and made it onto a short list of five finalists. There was then a public vote to select the winner and the result was announced at Crufts 2017 on Saturday 11 March 2017 in the Good Citizen Dog Scheme ring in Hall 3, The NEC, Birmingham.

CCST send best wishes and congratulates Martha on her outstanding achievement.

* Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme for Instructors in Dog Training and Canine Behaviour (KCAI)

These dog trainers have been assessed against the Kennel Club standards to ensure that they are able to provide quality service and advice. They are required to abide the KCAI Code of Practice
