Therapets Picnic

CCST’s new area representative in Fife, Christine Grist managed to gather some local Therapet volunteers together for a picnic in Silverburn Park, Leven on Saturday 5th September. The sun shone and eight volunteers and their dogs, along with a few friends, had a lovely walk and a few stayed around for a picnic afterwards. Silverburn Park has lots of different walks, some in wooded land, others on flat land, and there is also a sensory garden with seats and shelter. On the day they all gathered at the car park around 11.30 and then went for their walk around Silverburn Park. All meeting back at the picnic area at around 12.30 for a picnic. The picnic was enjoyed by humans and dogs alike. Area representative Christine and the Therapet volunteers are planning to make it a regular event.
