Therapet Visits SHIP & SPLASH

The following is an extract from the SHIP and SPLASH* summer newsletter

Our Tuesday Youth Club have also been enjoying the dry weather by playing in the campus park and trim trail. Lots of energy was used by both volunteers and service users ! We have also enjoyed having plenty structured play experiences with fellow peers and volunteers. Everyone also had a great experience when Therapets came to visit, bringing their super friendly dogs to meet the children. This was a lovely evening with the children able to approach the dogs on their own terms as you can see below (and on Facebook for many more pics)! This generated so much enjoyment that we hope to be able to make Therapets a regular feature and we are working with them to put this in place. A huge thanks to all the volunteers and staff for their commitment to these weekly

This visit was carried out by Area Representative for Perthshire Harry Greig.
