Therapet Troy A Canine Star For NHS DVD
The NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde asked if Canine Concern could provide a Therapet volunteer for the filming of an new induction DVD to be used to inform existing staff that will be involved in the transition to the new South Glasgow University Hospital.
Our volunteer Elizabeth Scott took part with her Therapet Troy, a beautiful German Shepherd. Troy and Elizabeth visit two wards in the Mansionhouse Unit, Lomond and Cathkin View.
The filming took place on Friday 7th November and Troy was a real star. Both Elizabeth and Troy got used to hearing the words "just one more time"!
Many thanks to Activities Co-ordinator Joanne Gourlay for all her help along with the ward staff to make the filming go smoothly in the ward.
